There are an eye-watering 12 versions here, with interpretations from Phoebe Bridgers, Dave Gahan, Miley Cyrus, Elton John, Dermot Kennedy, Darius Rocker and Chris Stapleton. Take their sprawling power ballad “Nothing Else Matters”, for instance.
